の生ゴミの処理作業をレバー操作で誰にでも容易に出来

分に脱水されていないから、焼却処理の効率も悪く、ま
た各家庭においても回収日が何日か置きに決められてい
るから、その間貯留しておかねばならず、これが原因と
なって異臭の発生をみたル、病害虫の寄生等が生じたル
して、甚だ不衛生なものであった。 本発明はこのような従来の処理手法による問題点に鑑み
なされたものであって、各家庭等で生ずミを処理する際
にこれを充分に脱水した状態でゴミ袋等に回収できるよ
うにしたものである。即ち本発明の生ゴミ脱水処理装置
は、排水経路途中にケーシングを設け、このケーシング
内には透水性を有する脱水篭を設け、前記ケーシングに
は脱水篭底部を開閉する底蓋板を設けるとともに、ケー
シングの底部寄シの位置には排水口を開口させ、更に前
記底蓋板下方にはゴミ袋を取り付けるように構成したこ
とt−特徴とするものである。 以下本発811を図示の実施例に基づいて具体的に説明
する。第1図において本発明たる生ゴミ脱水処理装置l
の設置態様の一例を示すもので゛ありて1例えば台所に
おける流し台(シンク)2の下面の排水口3に接続させ
るようにして設けたものである。この脱水処理装置it
lについて更に詳細に説明すると、符号10はケーシン
グであって、例えに鋳鉄あるいはプラスチック等で形成
した円筒状の部材である。このものは流し台2に取り付
ける場合には流し台2の排水口3に外嵌め状態に取9付
けるとともに、−例として底部を傾斜するように構成し
、更に底部近くにおいて排水出口11t−外部に延長形
成するものでめる。このケーシング1Gの内側には脱水
篭球を設けるものであって、脱水篭12はその周縁部に
多数の透孔あるいはスリット等からなる透水孔13を形
成する。そしてこの脱水篭12はケーシング10の底部
の形状に対応してその底部を傾斜させて構成するととも
に、tの側胴部にはケーシングioに対する嵌め込みの
案内及び固定を図るための例えば弾性部材等からなる固
定案内片14t−設けるものである。そしてこの脱水篭
νの底部はケーシング10に対してヒンジ15を介して
開閉自在に取9付けられた底蓋板16によって閉鎖され
るものであって、この底蓋板16とケーシングlOの下
端周囲はバッキング17によって水密状態を保つととも
に、ヒンジルには底蓋板16に対し常時閉鎖傾向を与え
るスプリング1dt−設けるものである。この底蓋板1
6の開閉機構乃至は閉鎖状態の保持機構について説明す
ると、底蓋板16に対して開閉四ツド用が底蓋板16に
設けられたガイド19に摺動自在に取ル付けられてなp
1開閉pツド18の先端部llがケーシング1Gのスカ
ート部10’に設けられたpツク孔加に嵌tn込むこと
によって閉鎖状態を維持するものである。 尚、開閉ロッド18の先端部xiは一例としてテーバ状
をなし、開閉ロッド18 t−ロック孔加に嵌め込むに
従い開閉ロッド18の先端が上方に更にせり上がるよう
に構成され、底蓋板16とケーシングlOの下端縁との
密着をより確実なものとするものである。開閉ロッド1
8の他端にはその開閉制御用の部材が設けられるもので
あって、このものは開閉ロッド18と回動支点21を介
して接続されたL字状の操作レバー22t−主体とする
ものであって、この屈曲点におけるピンnは、ケーシン
グ10から張シ出したガイドプラケット囚における円弧
状スリット篇に遊嵌される。更に操作レバーnの回動支
点寄9には、開閉ロッド18と当接する尚接片拠を突出
形成するものである。 そしてケーシング10の下方に一体形成されたスカート
部1dにはその周囲に凹溝27を設けるものであplこ
こに外嵌めされるリング状の拡開自在の締付バンド28
ヲ宛がうことによ)、この間にゴミ装器の開口部を保持
するように図るものである。尚、符号(9)は水切用押
圧具である。 本発明は以上述べたような構成を有するものであシ、次
のように用いられて生ゴミAの回収を行うものでめる。 即ち流し台2において調理残滓が出た場合には、これら
を格別回収することなく流し台2における排水口3から
落とし込むようにするのである。しかるときは生ゴミA
は脱水篭ルに溜められるものでめるが、そこに含まれて
いる水分は順次脱水篭12に形成されている透水孔13
から流出しケーシング10の下部に設けられた排水出口
11から排出されてゆくのである。一方脱水篭12内に
貯留された生ゴミAはこれが一定量溜まった後、更に水
切シが必要な場合には前述した水切用押圧具を用いて生
ゴミムを排水口3の上方から押圧して水分を除去するの
である。このようにして水分を充分除去した後、本脱水
処理装置lに設けられている操作レバー22を第2図矢
印の方向に扛上させるように回動してゆくのである。と
の回動動作にわたってはまずその移動当初の段階では回
動支点21を中心に操作レバ−22全体が幾分か上方に
回動し、しかる後はピン23ヲ中心に操作レバー22の
回動支点側を手前側に引くように移動してゆくのである
。しかるときは回動支点21を介して取)付けられてい
る開閉ロッド18が第2図中、右方へ移動することとな

合が解除され底蓋板16のロックを解除するのである。 続いて操作レバ(5) −22の上方への回動が進められるとこの操作レバー4
における当接片部が開閉ロッド18の基部に当接した状
態となり、これ以上の両者の屈曲がない状態のままに次
にはヒンジ15を中心として開閉ロッド18が回動する
ように操作されるのである。しかるときは開閉ロッド1
8に伴われるようにして底蓋板16も開閉してゆき、こ
のものが、支えていた脱水篭ν内の生ゴミAt−ゴミ袋
器内に落下させるものである。もとよりこの底蓋板16
はヒンジ15におけるスプリング15′によって開閉ロ
ッド18とpツク孔加との係合によるロックが解除され
た後でも閉鎖傾向を保つものであるから、生ゴミAの重
量が軽い場合には前述したように操作レバー22を充分
上方に押し上げない限シは開閉しないものであるが、生
ゴミムの重量が充分重くヒンジ15におけるスプリング
15’に抗して底蓋板16t−押し開けることができる

だ場合には、開閉ロッド18が更に上方に幾分かせ9上
がるようにな夛、底蓋板16をケーシング10の底部に
密着状態に設定し得るものである。このようにして生ゴ
ミムがゴミ装器内に捕集され、それが一杯になったとき
にはゴミ袋29t−締付バンド28ヲ外してケーシング
