This method is described in Japanese Patent Application No. 58-60389 and shown in FIG. To explain below, (6) is a cylinder block formed by aluminum die-casting, (7)
is a brass cylinder liner inserted into this cylinder block, and a groove αυ is formed on the outer circumferential surface of this cylinder liner (71) by a-left cutting. The liner and cylinder block (6) are joined by die-casting aluminum on the outer peripheral surface of the liner so that hot water can flow therein;
This prevents the liner (7) from coming off or rotating around the cylinder block (6).

Since there is only the groove ah, which is a part of the elefina, when finishing the cylinder block (6), the cylinder liner (7
), stress equivalent to cutting resistance is concentrated on the groove (11J).Therefore, there was a problem that the inner circumference of the cylinder liner (

The purpose of this invention is to provide an insert method that prevents the liner from rotating or slipping out of the casting and reliably connects the liner and the casting in an aluminum die-cast liner insert. The second purpose of the above insert method is to eliminate the conventional groove machining on the liner, to prevent an increase in the number of work steps, and to reduce stress concentration in the groove portion that occurs when cutting the inner circumferential surface of the liner. This is to prevent distortion of the inner circumference of the liner.

6) Form the material. The casting temperature at this time was 610
The typical casting temperature is ~700°C. Finally, finishing work such as cutting the end face of the cylinder block (6) or cutting the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder liner (7) is performed to complete the cylinder block (6).

This melted nickel plating layer αυ also melts the outer peripheral surface of the brass cylinder liner (7). Therefore, the nickel plating layer αD is combined between the plating layer and the cylinder liner (7) and between the plating layer 0υ and the aluminum casting tonnage to form Cu, -A12, and Nil -AJ.

。(f) Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention provides a cylinder block or the like formed by aluminum die-casting on a brass liner, in which the outer peripheral surface of the brass liner is pre-plated with nickel,
By aluminum die-casting this nickel-plated liner, Ni is added between the liner and the aluminum casting.
-Als, Cu-A7*, and other intermetallic compounds are formed, and the brass liner and aluminum casting are bonded together using this compound, making it possible to eliminate the conventional grooving of the liner and reduce work. This method prevents an increase in man-hours, eliminates stress concentration on the groove portion that occurs during cutting of the inner circumferential surface of the liner, and securely connects the liner and aluminum casting without causing distortion on the inner circumference of the liner. This prevents the liner from rotating or slipping out of the aluminum casting.
