Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an ornamentation effect in a hatchback type car by providing an indoor air-escape hole on the upper part of a rear finisher and air-exhaust ports on the side of a rear combination lamp. CONSTITUTION:A wind blown to a front glass is conducted along a back door 3, sucked into an indoor air-escape hole 16 thereunder, and exhausted from air- exhaust ports 22 of a rear combination lamp 21 via a duct 18 and a connecting hole 21a. As air-exhaust ports 22 are provided on the side of the rear combination lamp 21, this construction permits to obtain an ornamentation effect and an effect to clear the mist on a glass of a back door 3. Meanwhile, the indoor air- escape hole 16 is bored on a rear finisher 8, and a partition wall is set between a rear panel 6 and the rear finisher 8 for forming the duct 18. Consequently, the number of parts can be reduced and the work of assembly can be facilitated.

However, as can be seen from the table, such conventional vehicle ventilation systems have air exhaust holes in the panels exposed to the outside, such as the rear fender, which makes them look unsightly. There was a problem in that it was extremely time-consuming and wasteful in terms of production.

In addition, since a duct that communicates the indoor air vent hole with the air discharge hole must be formed between the side finisher or the interior of the cabin and the panel exposed to the outside, the number of parts required to form the duct increases. There was a problem in that the production cost increased.

In addition, air vent holes are formed in the side fins of the luggage compartment, which is connected to the passenger compartment, and in the inner rear pillar, allowing air blown from the instrument defroster toward the windshield to pass through the ceiling and into the back door. Although it hits the glass, it does not follow the glass surface, but instead turns around and returns to the rear pillar side, where it is sucked into the interior air vent hole, making it difficult to clear the fog on the back door glass.

The present invention was made by focusing on such conventional problems, and is an automobile in which a passenger compartment and a luggage compartment are connected to each other. The above-mentioned problem has been solved by providing an air vent hole, interposing a partition plate between the rear panel and the engine head to form a duct, and communicating this duct with the air exhaust hole formed in the rear engine lamp. It aims to solve the problem.
