  1. Ｘ線を試料に照射して発生した螢光Ｘ線を検出する事に
    より試料の膜厚を測定する装置において、試料位置検出
    用投光器と受光器を備え、この投光器と受光器で、試料
    の最適測定位置を検出し、そして、その検出信号で試料
    を最適測定位置に設定する構成にしたことを特徴とする
    Ｘ線膜厚装置。
