Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to incinerate dehydrated cakes of sludge efficiently together with refuse in a stoker type refuse incinerating furnace, by arranging a pipe for feeding dehydrated cakes of sludge in the manner that it is opened at an upper portion of a combustion chamber, so that the cakes can be scattered onto the upper surface of refuse on a stoker.
CONSTITUTION: A pipe 11 for feeding dehydrated cakes 4 is arranged to open at an upper portion of a drying region of a stoker 5, that is, at an uppermost region of a combustion chamber 2 in an incinerator 1. Here, arrangement is such that the pipe 11 is extended between the combustion chamber 2 and a conveyor 9 in the manner of communicating them to each other, and a feed pump 10 is provided at one end of the pipe 11. Further, a cake scattering port 3 for flaking the dehydrated cakes 4 is formed at the open end of the pipe 11, which is shaped into a Y-form at the portion thereof near the port 3. One of the shunted pipe portions is communicated to the pump 10 while the other is shaped in a short pipe having a cap 14 attached thereto. Further, around the port 3, there is formed a water-cooled jacket 12 having an inlet 16 and an outlet 17 of cooling water 15.
