Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance photosensitivity and durability characteristics against repeated uses in a photoreceptor having a laminate photosensitive layer consisting of a charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer, by adding a specified charge transfer compound to a charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:A charge transfer layer contains 100pts.wt. binder and 10- 500pts.wt. compound represented by the formula in which R1, R2, R3, R4 are optionally substituted alkyl or aryl, and R1 and R2, R3 and R4 may form a 5- or 6-membered ring together with N; R5, R6 are each H, halogen, NO2 or the following optionally substituted group; alkyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, acyl, or amino; and R is a divalent hydrocarbon residue e and it is optionally substituted, saturated or unsaturated. The obtained electrophotographic receptor has superior photosensitivity and high durability characteristics almost not deteriorating after repeated uses exceeding 10,000 times.
