Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate the control of flow rate of a fuel gas burner and to enhance the accuracy of operation of the gas for a gas burner by a method wherein a plurality of valves are made to be controlled by a single electromagnetic pressure supply apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: When the pressure in a second chamber 8 reaches a first set value due to the action of an electromagnetic pump 2, a responsive member 13 is displaced to a predetermined position to move only a first valve 24. Consequently, the first valve 24 leaves away from a second valve 25 and a gas in a communication passage 20 flows into an outlet passage 28 through a gap between the first and the second valves 24 and 25. Further, when the pressure in the second chamber 8 increases higher than the first set value, the responsive member 13 and a rod 23 is lowered further and the second valve 25 is pushed down to leave away from a valve sheet 29 by the engagement of the responsive member 13 with an engaging section 23a so that the gas flows into the outlet passage 28 at a flow rate corresponding to the degree of opening between the valve 25 and the valve sheet 29. Accordingly, the plurality of valves are controlled in an ON-OFF or a proportional mode through the single electromagnetic pressure supply apparatus.
