Abstract

PURPOSE: In a system wherein a low-quality oil is used and heated, to enable heating of the entire ignition fuel oil at start of the system by disposing a bypass valve in a pipe which extends from the inlet to the outlet of a fuel oil cut- off valve and providing a return pipe which runs from the suction side of a nozzle to that of an oil feed equipment.

CONSTITUTION: A fuel transferred from a tank is boosted by a pump 1, is heated by a heater 2, passes through the first filter 3 and a cut-off valve 4, is further boosted by a pump 5, passes through the second filter 6, and is equivalently distributed by distributors 7. Each of the distributed oil is sent through a check valve 8 and injected from a nozzle 9 into a combustor 10. A fuel oil between the heater 2 and the cut-off valve 4 is detected by a temperature detector 12 and if its result is not so high as a required level, the oil is bypassed by a return 11. The inlet-side pipe of the nozzle 9 is connected with a return pipe 20, with a return valve 21 disposed therein, running via a check valve 22 up to an inlet- side pipe of the pump 1. A check valve 23 is disposed in a bypass pipe extending from the inlet of the cut-off valve 4 and another bypass pipe 24 is connected with the cut-off valve 4. A bypass valve 25 is disposed in the bypass 24.
