Abstract

PURPOSE: To impart high temp. oxidation resistance and high temp. corrosion resistance of a heat resistant alloy used in a turbine or the like by a method wherein a heat resistant material is melt sprayed on a surface of a member made of a heat resistant alloy and a coating liquid containing a corrosion resistant material is coated thereon and, thereafter, heat treatment is applied.
CONSTITUTION: On a surface of a member made of a heat resistant alloy, a metal such as Ni, Cr or the like, an alloy thereof or a compound thereof which is a heat resistant material is melt sprayed to form a first layer. Subsequently, on said first layer, a coating liquid containing a metal such as Al, Si, Cr, Ta or the like, an alloy thereof or a compound thereof which is a corrosion resistant material is coated by a spray coating method, a brush coating method or the like and, thereafter, heat treatment for diffusion permeation is applied to the aforementioned melt sprayed and coated part. As the result, in a fly ash erosion resistance test and a corrosion resistance test, a heat resistant alloy having excellent surface properties compared to one due to a conventional method, is obtd.
