Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately calculate an efficiency of a plant and reliably control it by providing a high pressure feed water flow rate detector, a condensed water flow rate detector and a digital computer which has two functions of calculating a flow rate of feed water based on a flow rate of condensed water and diagnosing an abnormal condition.
CONSTITUTION: An orifice 12 for measuring a condensed water flow rate is made in a condensate pipe running to a deaerator and a detector for process data is fixed to a peripheral part 13 of a high pressure feed water heater. Performance of a plant is constantly controlled by a digital computer 15 based on information fed from a flow rate detector 14 of condensed water and a detector 19 for each process data. If any false input is found among process data 19 by an abnormal condition diagnosing function of the digital computer 15, an efficiency calculation based on information of a flow nozzle 3 for measuring high pressure feed water flow rate is conducted. Plant performance can be always placed under highly precise control for a long term.
