Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a secure and stabilized multiple ignition by controlling ignition energy supplied to and delivered from an ignition coil in conformity with actual igniting conditions when each of the primary and secondary current detected in the ignition coil, reach as the respective predetermined valve. CONSTITUTION:The primary current and secondary curvent are detected by using resistances 10 and 11. Mono-stable multivibrators 9p and 9q are triggered when the two detected values are compared with predetermined voltage V1th and V2th by comparators 9a and 9b and found to have reached the respective predetermined values. Those triggered signals are applied to a flip-flop as set and reset signals. The flip-flop is set when the secondary current reaches the predetermined value and is reset when the primary current reaches the predetermined one. Thus, the multiple ignition can be carried out exactly and stably.
