Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize an automatic detection of the resonance frequency with high accuracy, by stopping the rotation of a rotary device incorporating a noncontacting sensor and using the electric signal delivered from the noncontacting sensor when the rotation of the rotary device is at pause. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 20 is attached at a fixed part 15 of an object 3 to be measured to detect without contacting the vibrations of the specific area 19 of a mobile part 1 and the object 3. A driving part 37 is connected to the part 1 of the object 3, and the part 1 is driven to be freely stopped suddenly. A driving signal generating part 35 feeds the driving stop signal to the part 37 to stop suddenly the driving of the part 1 based on the electric signal supplied from the sensor 20 and delivered after the detection of the area 19. When the part 1 is suddenly stopped, a resonance frequency arithmetic part 36 calculates the resonance frequency of the object 3 based on the electric signal given from the sensor 20 corresponding to the answer vibration produced from the object 3.
