Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit high accuracy and high speed operation with a few calculation errors, by independently controlling torque component current and field component current. CONSTITUTION:A transducer 201 for torque component current i1q and a transducer 202 for field component current i1d are separately provided to individually detect and control the magnitude of the output currents of both transducers 201, 202. The torque component current reference i1d* is compared with the torque component current i1q having detected the output current of the current i1q transducer 201 by a current detection device 501 to deliver the current control signal PHCq of the current i1q transducer 201 by a torque component current control circuit 15. The field component current reference i1d* is compared with the field component current i1d having detected the output current of the current i1d transducer 202 by a current detection device 502 to deliver the signal PHCd of the i1d transducer 202 by a field component current control circuit 16.
