Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the power save effect by controlling an electromagnetic clutch for transmitting the engine power as the driving force of the air conditioner such that the attracting force will be lowered when the rising current changing speed of the coil after starting has dropped below the predetermined level. CONSTITUTION:Upon throwing-in of a switch 2, the voltage is applied on a hold coil 5 of an electromagnetic clutch 4 and the control circuit 10 while the start coil 6 is turned on. Consequently the current will increase gradually by the influence of the inductance of each coils 5, 6 to produce the terminal voltage of a current detecting resistor 11 as shown by the waveform (c). This voltage is differentiated to produce the waveform (e) and applied on one input terminal of a comparator in the controller 10 and compared with the referential voltage. Since the applied voltage is higher than the referential voltage during the interval from the turning on of a switch 20 to the time T2 the comparator will produce the output thus to turning on the transistor 9 and to continue the on- operation of the start coil 6.
