CONSTITUTION:There are provided a pulse generator 2 for delivering a plurality of pulses with a duty ratio gradually increasing and then decreasing, a switching element Tr for supplying exciting current to the prescribed exciting coil LA controlled by the pulse train, a current detecting circuit 3 for detecting that the exciting current becomes the prescribed value, and a gate circuit 4 for interrupting the supply of the pulse train to the switching element Tr in accordance with the detecting signal from the detecting circuit 3. Since the starting torque can be sequentially increased with the excitation signal having the prescribed pulse train according to this configuration, it can prevent the abrupt large current flow in the respective exciting coils, and can suppress the noise of a pulse motor.
