Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the hot-water feeding capacity of a hot-water feeding apparatus in which hot water is obtained by circulating a liquid between a heat collector and a hot-water storing tank having an auxiliary heating means at its upper portion by means of a circulating pump, by improving the piping for the hot-water storing tank and hot-water supply pipes including the auxiliary heating means. CONSTITUTION:In the daytime, water at a lower portion in a hot-water storing tank 2 is heated by heating medium heated by solar heat by means of a heat exchanger 4, by circulating heating medium in an outgoing pipe 6 through a solar- heat collector 1, incoming pipe 8 and the heat exchanger 4 sequentially in this turn through operation of a circulating pump 7. In the night, on the other hand, a three-way valve 11 is shifted to communicate a by-pass pipe 10 and a hot- water supply pipt 9 to each other. Therefore, the entire water in the tank 2 can be heated uniformly by carrying high-temperature water above an auxiliary heater 3 in the tank 2 to a lower portion in the tank 2 via the three-way valve 11 and by-pass pipe 10 by means of a pump 12, and circulating warm water at the lower portion in the tank 2 to an upper portion in the tank above the auxiliary heater 3.
