CONSTITUTION:If external ambient temperature deviates from normal operation temperature range during the operation of a disk device, a temperature detector 7 sends a fault signal to a control circuit 9. The circuit 9 inhibits the writing of data and at the same time, reports the abnormal temperature to a host device through an interface cable 11. Therefore, the host device is disabled to write data to the disk device, so that previously written data have no disorder.
