Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain plastics molded products having excellent surface lubricity and sufficient mechanical strength by molding the composite powder having the coating film of graphite, boron nitride etc. formed on the surface of thermoplastic powder particles.
CONSTITUTION: (A) The powder of graphite, fluorinated graphite, boron nitride, molybdenum disulfide having 0.1W200μm average particle diameter is made hydrophobic by high temperature heat treatment at 700W1,100°C in vacuum, etc., and (B) with (a) 3W80wt% of the above-mentioned hydrophobically treated powder (b) 20W97wt% of thermoplastic resin powder of polyacetal, polyacryl, polyamide etc, having 1W2,000μm average particle size is covered by dry blending and is uniformly mixed in a ball mill, etc, for 1W48hr, thus hydrophobic powder film is formed around the resin powder surface. Then, (C) this uniformly blended composite powder is molded into required shapes by the forming machine such as an extruder.
