Abstract

PURPOSE:To always maintain the high cleaning performance of a fur brush, by supporting freely rotatably the fur brush containing a number of brush hairs implanted on a supporter and then giving the forward and backward rotations alternately to the fur brush. CONSTITUTION:A fur brush cleaning device 8 contains a brush roller 8b having brush hairs 8a and 8a that rub the surface of a photoreceptor, and the roller 8b is attached to a shaft in a free by rotatively forward/backward turning way. A forward/backward rotation motor 9 is provided to give the rotations to the roller 8b, and a control part 10 is added. Thus the fur brush is turned in the opposite direction to an arrow A showing the forward rotation to correct the fall- down vice of the hair 8a. Thus the cleaning effect is recovered. In such way, the high cleaning performance is maintained for the fur brush.
