Abstract
PURPOSE:To contribute to the improvement in voltage recovery characteristic of a system up to the capacity limit of a generator by eliminating overxcitation function during an allowable time inversely proportional to the value of field overcurrent with allowable field current changed in accordance with inside cooling gas pressure. CONSTITUTION:When the signal representing the difference between the allowable field current corresponding to the pressure of generator 1 inside cooling gas whole current is outputted from an allowable field current setting circit 12 and actual field current has become larger than a set value, a relay 14 works to open a contact 31b. Thereby, an operational amplifier 16 integrates the difference signal using a time constant corresponding to the value of the difference signal. When the output signal of the amplifier 16 has exceeded a value set by a setting device 18, the relay 20 works so that an operational amplifier 68 integrates the difference singal to feed overexcitation limit signal to an automatic voltage adjuster 4.
