PURPOSE:To improve the cooling of a rotor and highten the cooling performance of the whole motor by a mechanism wherein an outer diameter of a cast fan at the load side is made smaller than an outer diameter of a cast fan at the opposite side of the load and both inner diameters and both side areas are made approximately equal. CONSTITUTION:An outer diameter of a cast fan 7b at the load side is made smaller than an outer diameter of a cast fan 7a at the opposite side of the load, and the inner diameters and side areas of both fans are made approximately equal. Thus, the static pressure of an air chamber B at the load side is effectively made less than the static pressure of an air chamber A at the opposite side of the load the velocity of the wind is enlarged, and the cooling performance of a stator can be improved. The cooling performance of a rotor 6 can also be improved in a balanced shape because the surface area of the cast fan 7b at the load side is made approximate equal to the cast fan 7a at the opposite side of the load.
