Abstract
PURPOSE: To more evenly distribute fuel for each cylinder by providing inside a vertical throttle bore, a cantilever type flat throttle valve, on the opening side of which a fuel injection valve is disposed at an angle.
CONSTITUTION: A vertical throttle bore 5 is communicated with a suction manifold 1 containing a manifold collecting section 2. A flat-state throttle valve 10 held by a pivot 9 secured onto a plane surface 8 of an inwall cantilevers inside the bore 5. On the opening side of the throttle valve 10, a fuel injection valve 7 oriented downwards to the manifold 1 is placed inside the bore 5 downstream the throttle valve 10. Thereby an injected fuel gets finer with the aid of an air flow running through the throttle valve as shown by the dotted line in the drawing.
