Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve working efficiency and to save cost of aquipment in building a marine airport etc. by a method wherein floating elements difficult to float stably when separated are hung down by turn on the surface of the sea, the bottom of the floating element is pulled by compound pulleys toward the sea bottom anchor and is combined with its neighboring floating elements on the same surface.
CONSTITUTION: In a floating element 1 which is unstable when separated in the sea, the upper structure 2 and the lower one 3 are set up and necessary numbers of these elements are manufactured on the land. These floating elements 1 are hung by turn one after one by a crane 13 served as a carrying and lifting means, are carried onto desired paints on the sea and are dropped by the crane 13. Then, the connecting piece 5 mounted on the bottom of the floating element 1, compound pulleys 6a, 6b and a rope 7 are connected with a sea bottom anchor 11 by a hook 8 through a base plate 10 and a connecting piece 9. And the lower part of the floating element is pulled by a winch 12 to the sea bottom through a rope 7. Thus, the floating elements 1 are connected mutually horizontally without tumbling down on the sea.
