Abstract

PURPOSE: To make uniform machining margines of the front and the rear surfaces of a disk without depending on the skills of machining workers by providing a controller to control the relative positions of the workpiece to be machined and a blade with the command signal from the cutting measurement setting position.
CONSTITUTION: A blade 4 which faces the workpiece 1 is fixed on a blade platform 5 which is formed reciprocatingly movable. A relative distance detector (noncontacting micro-displacement gauge) with the workpiece 1 is mounted on a blade platform 5. The other end of a setting device 12 of cutting depth 12 is connected with a machining margine setting device 13 and its output terminal is connected with a feed controller 14. Then, each pulse signal which corresponds to the distance and the machining measurement of the blade 4 and the workpiece 1 becomes the cutting depth signal added at a setting device 12 and impressed to the controller 14 which turns a DC servo motor 9 corresponding to the cutting depth signal to advance the blade platform 5. According, the machining margines of the front and the rear surfaces of a disk can be uniform.
