Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate assembly and overhaul and heighten efficiency by a mechanism wherein a parallel ringed magnetic path is formed between a magnetic body and a magnetic path forming body which make up a drive body, and an ebby-current generating plate of a following body, which is squeezing-worked in a cup shape, is arranged into magnetic path. CONSTITUTION:A drive body 10 is fixed to one end of a shaft 5 of a motor. The drive body 10 consists of a magnetic pole body 20 with a U-shaped section, a magnetic path forming body 23 and a nonmagnetic substance 22 for connecting both, and a parallel ringed magnetic path is made up between the magnetic pole pieces 17, 19 of the magnetic pole body 20 and the magnetic path forming body 23. On the other hand, a boss 38 forming a following body 40 is fastened to an output shaft 30, and an eddy-current generating plate 35 made of a conductive material squeezing- worked in a cup shape is mounted to the nose, and arranged into a magnetic path of the drive body 10. Thus, the void length of the magnetic path is shortened and efficiency can be heightened because the eddy-current generating plate 35 can be manufactured in excellent dimension accuracy and in high rigidity.
