Abstract

PURPOSE:To resist high frequent starting and stopping while enabling response at high speed by a mechanism wherein a drive body consisting of a magnetic substance is mounted to a shaft end of a motor, and an eddy-current generating plate of a following body connected to an output shaft is arranged into a clearance of a magnetic path of the drive body concentrically and cylindrically. CONSTITUTION:A drive body 10 is connected to one end of a shaft 5 of a motor. The drive body 10 is made of a magnetic substance, and formed by a magnetic pole body 20 with a U-shaped section and a magnetic path forming body 23 connected to the magnetic pole body through a onmagnetic substance 22. An exciting coil 25 is housed in space which the magnetic pole body 20 makes up, and fixed to an end bracket 9 through a magnetic path forming body 28. One end of an output shaft 30 is supported by means of a bearing 34 between the output shaft and the drive body 10, and a following body 40 is formed in such a manner that an eddy-current generating plate 35 is mounted to a nose portion of a boss 38 fixed to the output shaft. Thus, the drive body 10 can double as a fly-wheel while the force of inertia of the drive body and the following body is enlarged and response is accelerated.
