PURPOSE:To eliminate the IF offset control even in case the central frequency of the intermediate frequency filter is shifted from the normal value, by giving the control to the oscillation frequency of the local oscillator according to the comparison result of the phase comparator. CONSTITUTION:Output signal fpc of programmable counter 18 is supplied to phase comparator 24 to receive the phase comparison with frequency fref (50kHz) of the reference signal given from reference signal generator 25 through frequency divider 26. And comparison output sa is supplied to LPF27. Then LPF27 produces control voltage VC based on output sa, and local oscillation frequency f0 of local oscillator 14 is controlled by voltage VC. The conditions under which frequency f0 becomes steady is in the state under which output sa becomes zero, i.e., signal fpc coincides with frequency fref (50kHz). Thus the frequency in that time becomes as f0=71.4MHz, and accordingly the reception frequency becomes to 82.1MHz. As a result, the broadcast station of the desired frequency of 82.1MHz can be received.
