Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain the NOx concn. at the outlet of a reactor constant and to control the feed rate of NH3 by correcting th change in process gain by means of the flow rate of waste gas in a dry type catalytic reduction denitration method.
CONSTITUTION: In the dry type catalytic reduction denitration of NOx in waste gas controlling the feeding of NH3 in order to make the NOx concn. at the outlet of the reactor constant, the signals of a waste gas flowmeter 1, an NOx densitometer 2 and a waste gas thermometer 3 are sent to an arithmetic device 9. In this device 9, the feed rate FA of ammonia is calculated and is inputted as a feed-forward signal to an adder 8. On the other hand, the signal of the NOx densitometer 4 is transmitted to a controller 10, which compares the same with a preset signal 12 and inputs the signal to a multiplier 7. Here, it is multipled by the valve of the waste gas flowmeter 1 in order to correct the process gain Kp, thereafter, it is sent as a feed- forward signal to the adder 8, which adds the same to the feedback signal, thereby controlling a valve 6 for a gaseous NH3 gas.
