Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a DC power source having no error and high reliability by utilizing the voltage across the terminals of the first capacitor as the input of a control circuit. CONSTITUTION:The first capacitor C1 is charged through a diode D1 when a high voltage is inputted from a commercial power source, a control circuit 22 detects the charged voltage to open a switch S, and only the charged voltage of the first capacitor C1 is outputted to the output terminals O, O'. The first capacitor C1 is similarly charged through the diode D1 when a low voltage is inputted from a commercial power source, the control circuit 22 detects the charged voltage to close the switch S, the second capacitor C2 is charged through a diode D2 and the switch S in other half cycle, and accordingly the voltage of the sum of the charged voltages of the first and second capacitors C1 and C2 is outputted at the output terminals O, O'. Since the control circuit 22 detects the charged voltage of the capacitor C1 to operate, no error occurs in the operation of the switch S.
