Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an effective constant-voltage circuit by applying for the idling bias circuit of a B-class push-pull circuit which can set its output voltage to a fixed value without varying the value of a supply current.
CONSTITUTION: To collectors and emitters of bias transistors TRQ1 and TRQ2, power is supplied from constant-current circuit 10. Between the emitter of TRQ1 and the base-collector connection point between TRs Q1 and Q2, resistance R0 is connected and its voltage-division point is connected to the base of TRQ2. Collector-emitter output voltage V0 of TRQ1, base-emitter voltages of TRs Q1 and Q2 are denoted by V1 and V2, is stabilized at V0=V1(R01+R02)/R02+V2. This output voltage V0 is set to a value where output TRs Q3 and Q4 provide B-class operation.
