Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain excellent hardness by forming a lamination of a high-elasticity fiber sheet and aluminium foil by vapor-depositing aluminium on the surface of high-elasticity fiber, and then by heating and applying pressure on it at a temperature higher than the fusion point of aluminium in a vacuum atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of high-elasticity fiber 1 such as carbon fiber, aluminium 2 is vapor-deposited and this high-elasticity fiber 1 is woven to make sheet 3. Then, sheet 3 is stacked on aluminium foil or aluminium metal netting 4. In a vacuum atmosphere, they are formed in the shape of diaphragm 5 by heating and applying pressure as shown in the figure to melt aluminium pieces 2 and 4, thereby filling high-elasticity fiber 1 with aluminium. Here, the heating temperature in the vacuum atmosphere should be higher than the fusion point of aluminium, i.e. higher than approximate 660 deg.C, preferably approximate 700 deg.C, and applied pressure should be approximate 4-5kg/cm<2>. Consequently, a speaker diaphragm can be formed in a free shape with excellent hardness.
