CONSTITUTION:In the periphery of the shaft end portion, protruding from a work roll main bearing box 5 of a work roll 4, is provided an auxiliary bearing 16, and the auxiliary bearing 16 is supported by an auxiliary bearing box 17. And between one side portion of the auxiliary bearing box 17 in the direction of pass and a project block 8, provided in the housing, is interposed a load cylinder 18. The point end portion of piston rod of the load cylinder 18 is installed to the auxiliary bearing box 17, and the work roll 4 is pulled in one-way of the pass direction by an operation of the load cylinder 18, thus can be corrected the gap.
