Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily maintain the gas in the dryer alwats at a safe oxygen concentration free from risk of explosion, by removing the oxygen contained in the gas at a high yield.
CONSTITUTION: The gas in a dryer 1 is taken out from a gas exhaust pipe 6, and is passed through a high temperature dehumidifying agent layer 14 such as molecular sieve to separate the steam content by adsorption, and is then condensed in a condenser 7. As a result, anhydrous solvent is condensed to enter a recovered solvent tank 8, and after separating the solvent, the gas is heated by a heater 9 after passing through the deoxidation process, then the heated gas is returned to the dryer 1 through the feed pipe 10. In deoxidation process, the uncondensed solvent vapor and noncombustible gas such as nitrogen gas containing a slight amount of oxygen gas are, in the wet deoxidation method, passed through a gas-liquid contact apparatus 15 such as scrubber using deoxidized liquid such as sodium sulfite as the alkaline solution of gallic acid, or in the dry deoxidation method, passed through a granulating layer 17 of activated iron to change activated iron into FeO, FeO2. Thus, deoxidation is achieved.
