Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent dirty air in a shower chamber from leaking to the outer side of an air shower and constantly feed the outer side of the air shower with clean air for a clean room, by a method wherein the inner side of an air shower is always kept at negative pressure.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of providing an air shower device for a clean room such as a neonatal chamber, an outside-air suction port 8 is formed in one entrance door 10' of a main body case 11. In the upper portion of the entrance door (not shown) on the side of the clean room, a clean-air discharge port 9 is formed in face of a pressure chamger 11' between a blower 6 and a perforated plate 7. The air sucked in through the port 8 is mixed with the air in a shower chamber, before clarified through inside-air suction port 1 and a main filter 2. A portion of the clarified air is fed as a jet stream by a jetting blower 3; the remainder is introduced into the chamber 11' by the blower 6, and a portion of is injected into the shower chamber through the plate 7.
