Abstract
The booth has a certain area for the powder coating of substrates, which is limited by walls, floor and ceiling. A base is located below the booth. The base has a powder collection area (14) directly below the booth, and a clean air chamber (19), which is sealed from the booth and collection area. Apertures (17) extend from the collection area through filters (16) into the clean air chambers, the filters preventing penetration of powder. An air channel (12) of large cross-section extends from the booth into the collection area. A blower generates a low pressure in the clean air chamber.
