Abstract

PURPOSE: Electrically conductive fiber in which the specific color to the electrically conductive particles is shut up in the fiber and the color light of the outermost layer is reflected as much as possible, thus reducing the color of conductive particles to increase the commodity values.
CONSTITUTION: Said electrically conductive fiber is at least three-layered conjugate one consisting of (A) an electrically conductive and colored fiber-forming polymer such as nylon 6 containing dispersed conductive fine particles such as conductive carbon, (B) another fiber-forming polymer such as nylon 12 and (C) third fiber- forming polymer with higher refractive index than that of component B such as nylon 6 containing 3.5% of titanium oxide, wherein component B is laid between component A and C.
EFFECT: The color of the innermost layer becomes inconspicuous because the differ ence in refractive index helps the light reflection.
