PURPOSE:To select the voltage coefficients of resistors over a wide range in a short time, by applying a low and a high voltages to the resistor to be sorted and comparing an output voltage generated by impedance conversion. CONSTITUTION:A relay 4 is closed to apply a low voltage to a resistor to be sorted 12 and voltage coefficient selecting range setting variable resistors 13, 14 to charge a capacitor 40 with the output voltage of an operational amplifier 30. When the Rx resistor 12 is in the same range as the variable resistors 13, 14, a light emitting diode 42 is cused to emit light by an AND gate 38 and operational amplifiers 33, 34 for impedance conversion. Other relays 3, 8, 10, 11 are thereafter closed to apply a high voltage. When the Rx resistor 12 is in the same range as the variable resistors 13, 14, another ligh emitting diode 43 emits light. The output voltage of the operational amplifier 30 at the time of the application of the high voltage is supplied to a variable resistor 21 and other resistors 22, 23. A divided portion of the charged voltage of the capacitor 40 at the time of the application of the low voltage and the divided voltages of the variable resistor 21, the resistors 22, 23 and the other variable resistor 24 are applied to other operational amplifiers 36, 37.
