Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the density adjustment of recording images easy and achieve the improvement in the workability of recording method by electromagnetizing one of working magnets and regulating the magnetic force thereof.
CONSTITUTION: At least one of magnets, out of a pair of working magnets 4, 8, e.g., the magnet of the donor drum 1 side is formed by an electromagnet 8 and yet pulse currents are supplied to its exciting coil 9 and arrangement is so made that the rate of its current supply is regulated in correspondence to the desired density of the recording images. Magnetic ink 5 which deposits in tower form and is conveyed by the drum 1 deposits on recording paper 7 owing to the electric field action of a printer head 6, whereby the signal images are directly recorded on the recording paper 7. This enables the images to be set at a desired density without adding any special operating mechanism and enables the workability of the direct recording system to be improved.
