Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the unevenness of the dark current and to decrease the fluctuation of the output signal level by leaving some of the electric charge, occurring within the depletion layer under the optical gate electrode, under the optical electrode without shifting all of the electric charge to the electric charge transfer part.
