2. Description of the Related Art With regard to a headrest provided at the upper end of a seat back of an automobile or the like, a plurality of skin pieces are sewn into a bag-like skin, and after inserting an insert into the skin, these are placed in a foaming mold. There is a manufacturing method in which a foaming material is injected into the skin to form the skin integrally. In this manufacturing method, conventionally, as shown in FIG. 7, two skin pieces a,
b, a part thereof is opened as an injection port c for the foaming raw material g, and the rest is sewn. On the other hand, as for the insertion hole d of the stay 91, a bag-like skin previously formed on one skin piece b is generally used. Has been used. Then, at the time of foam molding, the injection jig f is inserted into the injection port c, the skin around the injection port is stretched in the longitudinal direction of the injection port c (the outline direction in FIG. 7), and the opening is closed. And foaming raw material g from injection port c
Has been prevented from leaking out of the epidermis (see, for example,
168449, JP-A-7-31759).
In addition, measures have been taken to prevent the foaming raw material g from leaking from the insertion hole d by backing a ring-shaped seal packing j around the insertion hole (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-66572).

According to the first and second aspects of the present invention, an injection port of a foaming material is formed in the middle of the two insertion holes substantially on the line connecting the two insertion holes, and the injection port has a tongue piece bent into the epidermis. When formed, the tongue of the injection port is pulled in the left-right longitudinal direction by preparing an insert having a stay-to-stay distance slightly longer than the length between the two insertion holes. It becomes plate-shaped and the tongue pieces come into close contact with each other to close the injection port. As a result, the injection port can be sealed without using any injection jig. In addition, when a tongue that bends into the skin is formed in the insertion hole, when the stay is inserted into the insertion hole, the tongue wraps around the stay, and the foam material leaks out of the insertion hole during foam molding. Can be prevented. Further, as in the invention of claim 2, when the suture for suturing the overlapped portion is interrupted so that the insertion hole of the pair of stays is formed together with the injection port of the foaming material, it is only necessary to partially stop the sewn portion. Since the insertion hole as well as the injection hole is formed, the production of the epidermis becomes very simple.

A pair of tongue pieces 13 for the insertion holes of the stays 91 are provided on the facing edge of the skin piece 1 at the opposing edges to be sewn to the skin piece 2 (FIG. 3). Further, a rectangular injection port tongue piece 12 extends between the two insertion hole tongue pieces 13 and 13. The tongue piece 22 for the injection port and the tongue piece 23 for the insertion hole also extend to the position corresponding to these tongue pieces 12 and 13 on the skin piece 2. The insertion hole tongue pieces 13 and 23 have a width enough to wrap the stay 91 when the stay 91 is inserted in a square shape, and a predetermined width is set so as to wrap around the stay 91 and prevent leakage of the foamed raw material g. There is height. Similarly, the inlet tongue pieces 12, 22
Also has a predetermined height to serve to prevent leakage of the foaming raw material g. These tongue pieces for injection port 13 and 23 and stay 91
The insertion hole tongue pieces 12 and 22 are disposed so as to be bent in an L-shape from the bottom surface S into the skin when the design surface E is a regular headrest skin A that appears on the front side (FIG. 6). ).

When the overlapping portions 11 and 21 of the skin pieces 1 and 2 are sewn, the sewing thread 6 is interrupted at the tongue pieces 13 and 23 for the injection port and the tongue pieces 12 and 22 for the insertion hole. Thus, a pair of stay insertion holes 8 are provided together with the injection port 7 for the foaming raw material g. Due to the formation of the stitch line 61, the injection port 7 is arranged between the insertion holes 8 on the line connecting the insertion holes 8. In order to form the insertion hole tongue pieces 12 and 22 (insertion hole 8) that are in close contact with the stay 91, the length of the portion where the sewing thread 6 is interrupted is made substantially equal to the diameter of the stay 91. Therefore, the sewing thread 6 enters into the tongue piece 13 and forms the stitch line 61b. In addition, since the stitch line 61b is inserted, the tongue pieces 13 and 23 are slightly opened and adjusted in FIG.

The distance between the two insertion holes 8 is set to be slightly shorter than the distance between stays inserted into the holes. Stay 91
When the tongue pieces 12 and 22 are inserted into the insertion holes 8, the tongue pieces 12 and 22 are pulled in the longitudinal direction (the direction of the arrow in FIG. 2). This is because the injection port 7 is closed in close contact and the leakage of the foaming raw material g to the outside of the skin during foam molding can be suppressed. The tongue pieces 12 and 22 for injection port are formed into a cylindrical shape by stitching lines 61a on both side edges of the tongue pieces 12 and 22 so that the tongue pieces are in close contact with each other and the mouth is easily closed (FIG. 1). As shown in FIG. 5, the tongue pieces 13 and 23 for the insertion holes are also formed by foaming when the tongue pieces 13 and 23 are brought into close contact with the stay 91 when the stays are inserted by inserting the seam lines 61c on both side edges of the tongue pieces 13 and 23. It is possible to more effectively suppress the leakage of the foaming raw material g through the insertion hole 8 at the time, which is more preferable.

The other skin pieces 3 to 5 also include the skin pieces 1,
Similarly to 2, the peripheral edges of the adjacent skin pieces are overlapped with the design surface E facing each other, and are stitched along the peripheral edges, thereby finally completing the bag-shaped skin. In particular,
In addition to the seam line 61 connecting the skin piece 1 and the skin piece 2,
The skin piece 1 and the skin piece 3 are sewn to form a seam line 62, the skin piece 2 and the skin piece 3 are sewn to form a seam line 63, and the skin piece 4 and the skin pieces 1 and 2 are sewn. Seam line 6
5, the skin piece 5 and the skin pieces 1 and 2 are sewn together to form a seam line 66, the skin piece 4 and the skin piece 3 are sewn together to form a seam line 67, and the skin piece 5 and the skin piece 5 are formed. By suturing the pieces 3 with each other to form a seam line 68, a bag-shaped headrest skin A having an inlet 7 and an insertion hole 8 can be completed (FIG. 1). Thereafter, when the skin A is turned upside down using the injection port 7, a regular pillow-shaped headrest skin A in which the design surface E appears outside as shown in FIG. 2 is completed.

Next, the procedure for finishing the headrest as a final product using the above-mentioned headrest skin A and the function of the skin will be described. To make a headrest product, first, a U-shaped insert 9 is inserted into the headrest skin A turned upside down. When the stay 91 of the insert 9 is inserted into the insertion hole 8, the stay 9 having a circular cross section is formed.
Since 1 enters the insertion hole 8, the center of the tongue pieces 13 and 23 is pressed outward, so that the tongue pieces 13 and 23 are formed into a half pipe shape and wound around the stay 91 (FIG. 4). Further, since the distance between the stays of the insert 9 used here is slightly longer than the distance between the insertion holes, when the stay 91 is inserted into the insertion hole 8, the skin pieces 1, 2 become the stay 9.
At 1, it is forcibly pulled outward (arrow in FIG. 2), and the tongue pieces 12 and 22 are in a state of being taut. Therefore, the tongue pieces 12 and 22 close the opening of the injection port 7 quickly.

Thereafter, the foaming raw material g is foamed and hardened, thereby completing a headrest integrally formed with the skin. In the process of foaming and hardening of the foaming raw material g, as described above, since the tongue pieces 12 and 22 firmly close and seal the injection port 7, the foaming raw material g moves out of the epidermis from the injection port 7 in the foam molding step. There is no risk of leakage. Also, since the tongue pieces 13 and 23 are wound around the stay 91 to seal the insertion hole 8, the foamed raw material g does not leak out of the skin through the insertion hole 8. When the foam hardening is completed and the mold is removed, a desired headrest product in which the leakage of the foaming raw material g to the outside of the skin is suppressed by the sealing action of the skin itself has been completed.

The thus configured headrest skin A
Since the injection port 7 is arranged in a straight line with the stay insertion holes 8 and 8 and is disposed in the middle thereof, if the insert 9 whose distance between stays is slightly longer than the distance between insertion holes is used, The skin portion between the holes, that is, the tongue pieces 12, 22 can be firmly stretched without loosening, and both can be closed. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the leakage of the foaming raw material g to the outside of the skin at the time of foam molding without closing the injection port 7 using a conventional injection jig. The stay 91 has a tongue piece 1
Since 3 and 23 are wound, even if there is no seal packing,
Leakage of the foaming raw material g from the insertion hole 8 can be suppressed well. Thus, the skin A for the headrest of the present invention does not require an injection jig and a seal packing, which greatly contributes to cost reduction. Needless to say, since the injection jig is not used, the inconvenience of having to keep the injection jig in the injection port 7 until the foaming raw material g is foamed and hardened at the time of foam molding is released. Further, since the injection port 7 and the insertion hole 8 are formed simply by interrupting the sutures 6 to be sewn in the overlapping portions 11 and 21, their formation is extremely easy. The production becomes much easier than the conventional method in which the insertion hole 8 is separately formed by making a hole in the skin piece.
