In this type of simple roof, since there is no roofing material and sealing member at the abutting portion between the front end (eave side end) of the rafter member in the width direction and the front frame, from this part Rainwater can enter (see Figure 11). According to this configuration, the rainwater that has flowed over the roofing material pressing portion flows downward from the abutment portion between the eaves side end of the rafter member and the front frame, and enters, but the eaves side of the rafter member. Since the upper part is formed so as to project from the lower part at the end of the, the rainwater separates from the rafter member at the lower end of the upper part of the rafter member and flows down to the front frame side. Therefore, when the rainwater flows to the lower end of the upper part of the rafter member, it does not reverse the slope of the roof and goes around to the lower part, that is, the rainwater reaches the lower part along the end of the rafter member. Therefore, it is possible to effectively prevent the intrusion of rainwater from the ends of the roofing member pressing portion and the rafters, which are weak points of the rain finish.

According to this construction, even if the upper seal member deteriorates and rainwater enters the swallowing groove from this portion, the rainwater flows along the bottom surface of the swallowing groove in accordance with the roof slope and the end of the rafter member. It does not go around to the lower part of the section. This makes it possible to improve the rain performance.

According to this structure, even if rainwater that has flowed to the eaves side end of the upper part of the rafter member due to wind pressure or the like flows backward against the slope of the roof on the lower surface of the upper part of the rafter member,
In this portion, the inclined surface portion and the lower surface of the upper portion of the rafter member are in contact with each other, so that backflow of rainwater is prevented. Specifically, a layer of rainwater is formed due to the capillary phenomenon at the portion where the inclined surface portion and the lower surface of the upper part of the rafter member are in contact, and further infiltration of rainwater is blocked by the surface tension of this layer of rainwater. It Further, in the horizontal plane section connected to the inclined plane section, the horizontal plane section and the lower surface of the upper portion of the rafter member are separated from each other, so that the intrusion of rainwater due to the capillary phenomenon can be blocked in this horizontal plane section.

According to this structure, even if rainwater intrudes over the rainwater layer into the horizontal plane portion due to strong wind pressure, the barrier portion prevents further intrusion of rainwater.
Further, the rainwater accumulated on the horizontal surface portion due to the barrier portion flows down toward the inclined surface portion by natural flow when the wind pressure is reduced.

According to this structure, the rainwater flowing on the roofing material pressing portion enters from the abutment portion between the eaves side end of the rafter member and the front frame, and flows down along the front end of the rafter member. However, at the notch, it will be dripped on the draining piece inserted into this. Rainwater received by the draining piece is guided from the draining piece to the drainage channel of the front frame according to the inclination of the draining piece. Therefore, the rainwater does not flow down to the lower surface of the rafter member along the front end of the rafter member.
Further, by forming the cutout portion in the rafter member and the draining piece portion in the front frame, it is not necessary to project the upper portion at the eaves side end portion of the rafter member, and the eaves side end surface of the rafter member is formed. Is a simple process.

On the other hand, at the front end of the rafter member 4, the upper portion 28 is formed so as to project from the lower portion 29. Therefore, rainwater flowing down on the upper surface of the rafter member 4 is fed from the end of the upper portion 28 to the front frame 3. Will not be guided to the deep groove 35 and flow down to the lower portion 29 side. For this reason, it is possible to structurally improve the rain performance of the connecting portion between the rafter member 4 and the front frame 3.

Now, with reference to FIG. 11, the rain habit of the connecting portion will be described in more detail. As shown in the figure, in the connecting portion between the rafter member 4 and the front frame 3, the roof sealing member 5 is located at the portion where the upper seal member 24 (and the lower seal member 25) and the front frame are provided. The eaves-side upper sealing member 37 (and the eaves-side lower sealing member 38) on the third side is provided and properly sealed, but the center portion of the front end of the rafter member 4 and the front frame 3 are butted. Part (S in the figure
There is no seal member in the part) and rainwater enters from this part. However, the rainwater that has entered from the S portion in the figure and has flowed down along the front end of the rafter member 4 has an upper portion 2 of the rafter member 4.
It is dripped into the deep groove 35 from the lower surface of 8 toward the lower portion 29 side and is guided to the front portion of the front frame 3. The reference numeral 35a in the drawing indicates the rainwater that has flowed into the deep groove 35 of the front frame 3 and the rain gutter portion 3a.
It is a drainage hole for leading to 2, and is formed at a plurality of positions in the longitudinal direction of the front frame 3.

Next, a modified example of the rafter member 4 will be described with reference to FIG. At the front end of the rafter member 4, only the roofing material pressing portion 21 is formed to project. Further, the eaves-side lower seal member 38, like the other lower seal members 17 and 25, is of a retrofit type and is directly mounted between the roofing member 5 and the front frame 3. Therefore, similarly to the above, the rain storability of the connecting portion between the rafter member 4 and the front frame 3 is improved, and the mounting member 39 for the eaves side lower sealing member 38 can be omitted, and the number of parts can be reduced. it can.

Next, another embodiment of the balcony roof 1 will be described with reference to FIG. Balcony roof 1
The roof surface is an R type having a curved shape, and each rafter member 4 and each roofing member 5 are curved forward. In this case, the basic structure of each component is similar to that of the first embodiment, but the shape of the upper piece 36 of the front frame 3 is partially different. That is, at the tip of the upper piece portion 36, a weir piece portion 42 protruding further in an "L" shape is formed further forward, and the weir piece portion 42 is used for the rafter member (roofing material pressing portion) 4 and the roof. It is formed so as to rise from the thatching material 5.

In this balcony roof 1, the roof slope gradually becomes steep toward the front, and the rainwater flowing down gradually increases its flow velocity. For this reason, rainwater will be collected in the rain gutter part 32 of the front frame 3.
It will flow into the inside of the tank vigorously and will be easily scattered. However,
In the above-described embodiment, the rainwater that has flowed down the roof surface passes through the above weir piece portion 42 to reduce the flow velocity, and then the rain gutter portion 32.
Flows into. For this reason, rainwater slowly flows into the rain gutter 32. Therefore, it is possible to effectively prevent rainwater from dripping from the front frame 3.

Next, referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, the front frame 3
Another embodiment of the connecting portion between the rafter member 4 and the rafter member 4 will be described. In this embodiment, the front frame 3 and the rafter member 4 are connected via a rafter bracket 50. As shown in FIG. 8, the rafter bracket 50 includes a pair of rib portions 51, 51 fitted in the hollow portion of the rafter member 4 and a pair of rib portions 51, 51.
It is integrally formed with a flange portion 52 that holds 51. The rafter bracket 50 is screwed to the rafter member 4 from both sides in a state where the pair of rib portions 51, 51 are inserted into the hollow portion of the rafter member 4, while the flange portion 52 is attached to the abutting surface 34 of the front frame 3. It is screwed to the front frame 3 in the pressed state. In this state, the flange portion 52 of the rafter bracket 50 is strongly sandwiched between the front frame 3 and the rafter member 4, and rainwater is prevented from easily flowing down between the front frame 3 and the rafter member 4. doing.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG.
In the top plate portion 60 of the front frame body 31 constituting the above, a barrier portion 61 is provided upright at the rear end. The barrier 61 is
The upper part is curved forward and formed in the shape of a water bar.
However, in the upper portion of the barrier portion 61, the portion where the rafter member 4 is located is cut out, and the rafter member 4 is fitted into this cut out portion.

Further, the top plate portion 60 has an inclination following the roof slope, and the upper surface of the latter half portion thereof is a mounting surface 62 on which the upper portion 28 of the front end portion of the rafter member 4 is mounted. There is. Further, the mounting surface 62 is the upper portion 28 of the front end portion of the rafter member 4.
Is formed of a front side inclined surface portion 62a that directly contacts with the rear side horizontal surface portion 62b that faces the front end upper portion 28 in a non-contact state. That is, the inclined surface portion 62 of the mounting surface 62
a is inclined according to the roof slope, and the horizontal surface portion 62b extends substantially horizontally from the end of the inclined surface portion 62a toward the barrier portion 61.

In this case, the upper part 28 of the front end of the rafter member 4 is
, The rainwater (see FIG. 11) that has reached the mounting surface 62 of the front frame body 31 around the front end thereof is prevented from flowing backward by the front end of the rafter member 4 in contact with the inclined surface portion 62a. To be done. Specifically, rainwater is localized in layers between the inclined surface portion 62a and the front end portion of the rafter member 4 due to a capillary phenomenon. Therefore, the surface tension of the rainwater layer prevents further backflow of the rainwater. However, rainwater may flow into the horizontal plane portion 62b due to strong wind pressure, but in such a case, the rainwater is blocked by the barrier portion 61 and collects in the horizontal plane portion 62b. Then, when the wind pressure is reduced, the rainwater collected on the horizontal plane portion 62b flows out forward toward the drain hole 35a by natural flow.

In such a structure, rainwater (mainly rainwater from the portion S in FIG. 11) that has penetrated along the front end face of the rafter member 4 reaches the cutout portion 71 of the rafter member 4, It flows down on the draining piece 73 and collects here. The rainwater collected in the draining piece 73 overflows on the seal mounting piece 72 from the front side due to the level difference h, and flows out toward the front drain hole 35a, as shown in FIG. Therefore, also in this embodiment, it is possible to structurally improve the rain performance of the connecting portion between the rafter member 4 and the front frame 3. Further, the front end portion of the rafter member 4 does not require complicated processing unlike the above-described embodiments.
