Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.通信システムにおいて、符号化レートを制御する方法であって: 複数の移動局からリンク関連特性を判定する段階;および 前記判定されたリンク関連特性に基づいて、特定の移動局の符号化レートを制 御する段階; によって構成されることを特徴とする方法。 2.リンク関連特性は、移動局のハンドオフ状態,移動局の位置,移動局の送信 特性,担当基地局の送信特性および移動局で生じる音響背景雑音の量のいずれか をさらに含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。 3.前記移動局の位置は、担当基地局または隣接基地局に対する移動局の位置を さらに含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項2記載の方法。 4.前記移動局の送信特性は、移動局の現在送信レベルをさらに含んで構成され ることを特徴とする請求項2記載の方法。 5.前記担当基地局の送信特性は、担当基地局の現在送信レベルをさらに含んで 構成されることを特徴とする請求項2記載の方法。 6.通信システムにおいて、符号化レートを制御する装置であって: 複数の移動局からリンク関連特性を判定する手段;および 前記判定する手段に結合され、前記判定されたリンク関連特性に基づいて、特 定の移動局の符号化レートを制御する手段; によって構成されることを特徴とする装置。 7.リンク関連特性は、移動局のハンドオフ状態,移動局の位置,移動局の送信 特性,担当基地局の送信特性および移動局で生じる音響背景雑音の量のいずれか をさらに含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項6記載の装置。 8.前記移動局のハンドオフ状態は、ソフト・ハンドオフまたはハード・ハンド オフ状態のいずれかをさらに含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項6記載の 装置。 9.前記移動局の送信特性は、移動局の現在送信レベルをさらに含んで構成され ることを特徴とする請求項6記載の装置。 10.前記移動局で生じる音響背景雑音の量は、担当基地局との通信中に移動局 で生じる音響背景雑音の量をさらに含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項6 記載の装置。
