PURPOSE:To provide a generator for vehicle in which electromagnetic noise can be suppressed at the time of assemblage by preventing the circularity of stator core from deteriorating due to tightening of a through bolt. CONSTITUTION:The generator for vehicle comprises a stator core being set between brackets and tightened axially by means of a through bolt 8, wherein axial notches 10 are made on the opposite sides in the circumferential direction at least one through bolt tightening seat part 9 of each bracket.
