【考案の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】
本考案は、雄・雌コネクタ相互の一気嵌合すなわち慣性ロックを可能としたコ ネクタのロック機構に関するものである。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】
図５は、実開昭６２−４０７９号公報に記載された従来のコネクタのロック機 構を示すものである。 このロック機構は、合成樹脂製の雄コネクタハウジング２１の外壁２２上に形 成したフード部２３にロック用の板ばね部材２４の基部側を挿入係止させ、該フ ード部２３から前方に突出した該板ばね部材２４の前半部の係止孔２５に雌コネ クタハウジング２６の先端側の係合突起２７をロックさせるものである。
【０００３】 該板ばね部材２４は雄・雌コネクタハウジング２１，２６の嵌合と同時に外側 に撓み、係止孔２５に係合突起２７を係合させる。両コネクタハウジング２１， ２６内にはそれぞれ図示しない端子部を収容させ、コネクタハウジング２１，２ ６の嵌合によって各端子部を接続させる。
【０００４】 しかしながら、上記従来のロック機構にあっては、コネクタ嵌合に際して板ば ね部材２４が簡単に撓むために、端子部相互の接続を衝撃的な力で慣性ロックに より一気に行わせることができず、そのため端子部の摺動抵抗等の影響でコネク タの中途嵌合を起こしやすいという問題があった。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
本考案は、上記した点に鑑み、慣性ロックを利用して一気にコネクタ嵌合でき てコネクタの中途嵌合を起こすことのないコネクタのロック機構を提供すること を目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本考案は、一方のコネクタハウジングのフード部 にロック用の板ばね部材を挿着し、他方のコネクタハウジングに、該板ばね部材 に対する係合部を設けて成るコネクタのロック機構において、該フード部を該板 ばね部材の先端方近傍まで延設し、該板ばね部材に、フード延設部に対する押接 ばね部を突設して成ることを特徴とする。

【作用】
コネクタ嵌合に際して他方のコネクタハウジングの係合部が、一方のコネクタハ ウジングに挿着された板ばね部材の先端部に当接して板ばね部材を撓ませようと する。この際、押接ばね部がコネクタハウジングのフード延設部に押接して板ば ね部材の撓みを阻止する。そこで作業者が力を込めて押接ばね部を撓ませてコネ クタを嵌合させることとなり、慣性ロックによる一気嵌合が達成される。

【実施例】
図１は、本考案に係るコネクタのロック機構を示すものである。 該ロック機構は、プリント回路基板１を収容したカードエッジ型の雌コネクタ ２のハウジング３のフード部４に挿着された金属製の板ばね部材５に対して、該 回路基板１の端子部６に対する接触端子７と該板ばね部材５の先端方の係止孔８ に対する係合突起９とを備えた雄コネクタ１０を嵌合と同時にロックさせるもの である。
【０００９】 該板ばね部材５は、図２にも示す如く、基板部１１の基端方に略Ｕ字状の折り 返し部１２を形成し、該折り返し部１２に、ハウジングフード部４に対する第一 支持部としての係止用突片１３を切り起こし形成し、該基板部１１の先端方に、 雄コネクタハウジング１４の後半部に位置する前記係合突起９に対してテーパ状 に立ち上げられた先端当接斜部１５と、前記係止孔８とを形成すると共に、該係 止孔８の後方から基端方に向けて傾斜して立ち上がる第二支持部としての押接ば ね片１６を形成して成るものである。
【００１０】 該押接ばね片１６は、湾曲した先端部１６ａを雌コネクタハウジング３のフー ド部４の前方延設部４′の内壁面に押接して、基板部１１の先端方をやや下方に ばね付勢させる。また前記折り返し部１２は、図４に図１のＡ部横断面図を示す 如く、フード部４の内側のガイド溝１７に前方から挿入され、基端１２ａを該ガ イド溝１７の後段部１７ａに当接停止させる。また係止用突片１３はガイド溝１ ７の上側の係合溝１８の前段部１８ａに係止される。
【００１１】 該フード部４の前方延設部４′は板ばね部材５の先端当接斜部１５の立ち上げ 基部１５ａの近傍にまで延び、図１の鎖線の如く板ばね部材５の撓んだ状態で該 先端当接斜部１５を外部上方に突出させ得る。このことは、板ばね部材５の係止 解除操作を手指で直接行うことができると同時にフード部４を薄型に設定できる という効果を生む。
【００１２】 そしてコネクタ嵌合に際して雄コネクタ１０の係合突起９が該先端当接斜部１ ５に当接して板ばね部材５を上方に撓ませようとするが、上方に突出した押接ば ね片１６がそのばね力により板ばね部材５の撓みを阻止して作業者に大きな初期 嵌合力を要求する。それによりコネクタ１０は図４の如く一気に嵌合され、回路 基板１の端子部６と接触端子７とが確実に接続される。
【００１３】 なお、雄コネクタ１０内の接触端子７は雌コネクタ２の回路基板１を挟んで上 下二段に背中合わせに且つコネクタ嵌合方向に位相ずれさせて配置され、それに より嵌合時の接触ばね片７ａの摺動抵抗すなわちコネクタ嵌合力の軽減が図られ る。

【考案の効果】
以上の如くに、本考案によれば、コネクタ嵌合に際して押接ばね部がコネクタ ハウジングのフード延設部に押接して板ばね部材の撓みを阻止するから、力を込 めた慣性ロックによる一気嵌合が可能となり、コネクタの不完全嵌合が防止され 、端子部相互の確実な接続が行われる。

    ロック用の板ばね部材を挿着し、他方のコネクタハウジ
    ングに、該板ばね部材に対する係合部を設けて成るコネ
    クタのロック機構において、該フード部を該板ばね部材
    の先端方近傍まで延設し、該板ばね部材に、フード延設
    部に対する押接ばね部を突設して成ることを特徴とする
    コネクタのロック機構。
