This molded wire harness is shown, for example, in a perspective view in FIG.
FIG. 4 is a sectional view taken along the line ii, showing the outer periphery of the wire harness a formed by bundling a large number of covered electric wires a 1 .
It is constructed by using a curable resin and molding and curing it into a desired shape according to the wiring path to form the outer package b.

The molded wire harness formed in this way can always be molded into a constant shape according to the shape of the car using a molding die, so like conventional wire harnesses, the wires are manually wrapped with adhesive cheap Compared to the case of fixing, there is no variation in shape, it is possible to rationalize the wiring work, and to prevent vibration due to interference and contact with various parts of the vehicle, protect the wire harness itself and make abnormal noise Although it has excellent characteristics such as preventing the occurrence of heat generation, on the other hand, the exterior b has a molding resin as shown in FIG.
Since b 1 is cured while being filled in the gaps between the electric wires a 1, there is a drawback that it is almost inflexible. For this reason, when the wire harness that is routed from the fixed part of the automobile to the movable parts such as the bonnet, trunk, and various doors is covered with a fixed shape, it is flexible and self-restoring for these movements. Since the property is not obtained, there is a problem that a load is applied to the exterior and cracks occur.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) The present invention has been made by paying attention to the drawbacks of the conventional molded wire harness, and has the above-mentioned characteristics of the molded wire harness as they are, and has a flexible exterior. An object of the present invention is to provide a flexible molded wire harness that is provided with self-recovery.

Referring to the drawings, the flexible molded wire harness of the present invention is configured such that the wire harness 1 is inserted into a flexible tube 2 without being fixed, and an insulating resin material is molded on the outer periphery of the tube 2 into a desired wiring shape. It is configured by curing to form the exterior 3.

In this configuration, as the material of the tube 2 through which the wire harness 1 is inserted, a resin such as soft vinyl chloride or polyethylene having excellent flexibility and low self-recovery property is preferably used. Further, the tube 2 can be provided with slits in the lengthwise direction partially or over the entire length to facilitate the mounting of the wire harness 1 into the tube 2. When the tube 2 is provided with a slit, it is desirable to apply a tape winding to a key portion to prevent the tube 2 from losing its shape.
Further, it is desirable that the tape winding is performed to fix both ends of the tube 2 to the wire harness 1 regardless of whether or not the slit is formed in the tube 2, and thus the degree of freedom of the wire harness 1 in the tube 2 is increased. It is possible to prevent the positional displacement of the tube 2 and the external sheath 3 with respect to the wire harness 1 while holding

In addition, the outer casing 3 is formed on the outer circumference of the tube 2 by using the actual construction number
A method as disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 1191, that is, using a mold including a receiving mold provided with a molding groove corresponding to a desired shape to be applied to the exterior 3 and a pressing mold corresponding to the receiving mold, It can be easily carried out by molding and curing a curable resin material by a conventional method. in this case,
If polyurethane or polystyrene is used as the resin material and foam molding is performed, the outer casing 3 can be formed to be lightweight. In addition, a protective film may be provided on the outer circumference of the outer package 3 to provide surface protection for the outer package 3 and provide stools for different colors.

(Function) According to the flexible molded wire harness of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, the wire harness 1 is loosely inserted into the flexible tube 2 without being fixed, and the exterior 3
Is formed on the outer circumference of the tube 2 without being directly joined to the wire harness 1, so that it has flexibility and self-restoring property, and is not fixed unlike the conventional molded wire harness described above. Therefore, as shown in FIG.
Flexibility and self-return in the direction of the arrow F to the position of the dashed line becomes easy, and the unnecessary load on the wire harness and the exterior is drastically reduced following the movement of the movable part of the vehicle.

(Effect of the Invention) The flexible molded wire harness of the present invention has the configuration and operation described in detail above, and since the exterior has flexibility and self-restoring property, when applied to a movable part of a vehicle. Also, the durability of the exterior can be improved without applying an excessive load. Further, since the wire harness is protected by both the tube and the exterior, its durability is improved more than ever before. Further, even when a defective product is produced in the molding of the outer package, the wire harness can be easily taken out in an intact state and reused by cutting the tube.
