Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本考案はワイヤハーネス等の接続に用いられるコネクタ
において、端子金具の係止機構について改良したもので
ある。
〔従来の技術〕
第７図において、コネクタハウジングａには、前方に開
放された中間の収容室ｂを介して上下に複数の端子収容
室c,cが並設されており、収容室ｂにはスペーサーｇが
挿入される。
第８図に示される如く、端子収容室ｃには端子金具ｄに
対する第１と第２の可撓係止片e,fが設けられており、
第１可撓係止片ｅの係止端e1は端子収容室ｃにおける端
子金具ｄの挿入軌跡に位置していて、端子金具ｄの挿入
時において該端子金具ｄにより外方へ偏位させられた後
復元して端子金具ｄの第１係合部d1に係合し、第２の可
撓係止片ｆは端子金具ｄの挿入軌跡から係止端f1が外れ
ていて、端子金具ｄの挿入後において前記収容室ｂに挿
入されるスペーサーｇにより係止端f1が強制的に偏位さ
れて端子金具ｄの第２係合部d2に係合し、端子金具ｄを
二重に係止する。
〔考案が解決しようとする課題〕
上記従来技術にあっては、コネクタハウジングａが高温
雰囲気中に長時間に置かれた場合において、第２可撓係
止片ｆが強制偏位された姿勢に変形し、スペーサーｇを
取り外しても元の形状に戻らなくなって端子金具ｄを取
り外すことが出来なくなる欠点がある。
本考案は、端子金具に対するかかる第１と第２の可撓係
止片を有するコネクタハウジングにおいて、可撓係止片
が高温等により変形した場合においても、端子金具を容
易に取り外し得るようにしたものである。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
上記の目的を達成するため、本考案においては、コネク
タハウジングの端子収容室に端子金具に対する二個の可
撓係止片を設け、一方の可撓係止片に近接して該一方の
可撓係止片を端子金具と係合しない位置に係止する保持
部を設ける構成を採用した。
〔実施例〕
第１図において、Ａは合成樹脂材により一体成形された
コネクタハウジング、Ｂは端子金具である。
コネクタハウジングＡの端子収容室１には前端にストッ
パー２が設けられ、また第１と第２の可撓係止片3,4が
設けられる。
可撓係止片3,4の係止端部3a,4aは端子収容室１における
端子金具Ｂの挿入軌跡に位置しており、端子金具Ｂの挿
入により一旦外方へ偏位された後に復元して端子金具Ｂ
の係合部5,6に係合する。
第２にお可撓係止片４に近接して板状の保持部７が設け
られ、保持部７には係止端部4aを受け入れる切欠部7aが
形成され、係止端部4aの両側には係合突部4bを設けて切
欠部7aの保持突部7bに係合させる。
上記構成において、端子金具Ｂを取り外す場合には、コ
ネクタハウジングＡの前部より治具を入れて係止端部4a
を持ち上げて係合突部4bを保持突部7bに係合させて端子
金具Ｂから離れた状態を保持し、この状態で治具により
係止端部3aを端子金具Ｂから外しつつ端子金具Ｂを引き
抜く。
〔考案の効果〕
本考案は上記した如くに、コネクタハウジングの端子収
容室に端子金具に対する二個の可撓係止片を設け、一方
の可撓係止片に近接して該一方の可撓係止片を端子金具
と係合しない位置に係止する保持部を設けて成るもので
あるから、一方の可撓係止片を端子金具から離した位置
に保持して他方の可撓係止片の係合を外しつつ端子金具
を容易に抜き取ることができる。

  1. 【請求項１】コネクタハウジングの端子収容室に端子金
    具に対する二個の可撓係止片を設け、一方の可撓係止片
    に近接して該一方の可撓係止片を端子金具と係合しない
    位置に係止する保持部を設けて成ることを特徴とするコ
    ネクタにおける端子金具の係止機構。
