<Prior art> Conventionally, in printing and plate-making factories, printing rolls are placed upright on the side of the aisle or in the roll storage room, and the same is true in the roll storage warehouse of a roll manufacturing factory.
If the roll falls, it is dangerous and may cause deformation or damage to the printing roll. Placing the printing roll on its side takes up a lot of space and requires a pallet to prevent scratches.

On the other hand, roll storage warehouses where printing rolls are stored vertically have low space utilization efficiency, so rolls R are stacked and stored horizontally using pallets P, as shown in Figure 10. It is proposed that the automated warehouse system S is equipped with a stored items collection and delivery device Q that moves the stored items vertically and horizontally throughout the warehouse and collects and delivers the stored items to the shelves. If they are stacked and stored, the installation width w1 of the storage item collection and distribution device Q will have to be made larger (approximately equal) to the shelf width w2, resulting in low space utilization efficiency. Further, printing rolls come in various sizes, large and small, and cannot be loaded together on the pallet P, which is inconvenient.

<Structure of the Invention> The roll rack device of the present invention is a rack in which a pair of rack main halves are pivoted so that they can be folded freely, and the rack can be changed from an open state to a standing state by lifting the center pivot part. When the main body and this rack main body are in a standing state, the rack main body is engaged with each half of the rack main body so as to protrude on both sides of the rack main body, and is guided so as to be able to rise and fall, and the rolls are stacked by being stacked alternately with rolls. The rack body is composed of a plurality of roll supporting arms that can be supported in a fixed manner, and the rack body has a support and guide member erected at one end of the leg member to form an L-shaped frame.
Two rack body halves are constructed by arranging two shaped frames at a required interval and connecting them with a connecting member, and the support and guide members are vertically connected so that the leg members of each half extend horizontally in opposite directions. The upper ends of the support and guide members are arranged pivotably to each other, and a roll protection member is attached to the surface of the support and guide member near the other end of the leg member, extending upward and downward. The roll support arm has an engaging part at one end of the arm body that fits into the support and guide member and is movable up and down, and roll protection members are attached to the upper and lower surfaces of the arm body. The upper surface of the roll protection member attached to the upper surface of the arm body is a sloped surface that increases as the distance from the support and guide member increases to prevent the rolls from rolling off even if the rack body is slightly tilted during transportation. This is a characteristic feature.

First, at a roll manufacturing factory, as shown in FIG. 3, the rack main body halves 1A, 1B are opened, and the roll supporting arms 2A, 2B, 2C, . . . After fitting the engaging portions 22 of 2J, the intervals between the roll support arms 2A, 2B, 2C, ..., 2J are
Ensure that the diameter is as large as necessary. Then, the roll R is lifted by a lifting device (not shown) and lowered to a position between the arms. Then, the roll R rides on the roll protection member 15, and when it tries to roll, the roll surface hits the roll protection member 23 or 24,
It is stably positioned without any damage. After the four rolls R are placed on each of the rack body halves 1A and 1B, a wire rope Y is hung on the hanging tool 17 and lifted by a lifting device (not shown). Then, the rack body halves 1A and 1B close smoothly as the rollers 18 roll on the floor surface. At this time, the roll support arm 2 is inclined higher as it moves away from the support/guide member 11b, so that the roll R does not roll off even if the rack body is slightly inclined due to transportation, etc. There is no risk of it rolling down, and the roll support arms 2A, 2B, 2 are in a standing position as shown in Figure 1.
C, . . . , 2J and rolls R, R, R, . . . overlap alternately. That is, the rolls R, R, R, . . . are supported in a stacked state with arms interposed therebetween. In this state, the rolls are temporarily stored in the roll storage warehouse (including an automated warehouse system) of the roll manufacturing factory and shipped/transported to the printing factory. In the printing factory, a wire rope Y is hung on the hanging tool 17, the lifting device (not shown) is used to secure the lifting, and the rack main body halves 1A and 1B are opened at a certain angle by human power, and from that state,
If the lifting device is gradually lowered,
Since the rollers 18 roll on the floor surface, the rack main body halves 1A and 1B smoothly come into the open position, as shown in FIG. After that, by moving the arms and rolls alternately towards the center to open up the gap between the arms, the belt can be lifted up by passing the belt under the roll at any position and lifting the belt with a lifting device (not shown). It is.

[Scope of Claims] 1. A rack body in which a pair of rack body halves are pivotally connected in a foldable manner so that the legs can be brought into a standing position by lifting the center pivot part from an open position; When in the standing state, a plurality of rack body halves are engaged with each half of the rack body so as to protrude from both sides of the rack body, are guided to be raised and lowered, and are stacked alternately with the rolls to support the rolls in a stacked manner. The rack body has a support and guide member erected at one end of the leg member to form an L-shaped frame.
Two rack body halves are constructed by arranging two shaped frames at a required interval and connecting them with a connecting member, and the support and guide members are vertically connected so that the leg members of each half extend horizontally in opposite directions. The upper ends of the support and guide members are arranged pivotably to each other, and a roll protection member is attached vertically to the surface of the support and guide member near the other end of the leg member. The support arm has an engaging part at one end of the arm body that fits into the support and guide member and can be raised and lowered, and roll protection members are attached to the upper and lower surfaces of the arm body. The top surface of the roll protection member attached to the top of the main body is a sloped surface that becomes higher as it moves away from the support/guide member to prevent the rolls from rolling off even if the rack main body is slightly tilted during transportation. Rack device for rolls.
