Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an outer lens with a color different from a lamp color as object by setting the spectro-penetration factor of the outer lens and that of an inner lens in a complementary relationship relative to the lamp color. CONSTITUTION:A linear combination lamp 1 consists of a combination of a direction indicator lamp 2, a control/tail lamp 3, and a reversing lamp 4. This reversing lamp 4 uses an approx. white-color electric bulb 5 as light source. Further it is equipped with an outer lens 6 and an inner lens 7, wherein the outer lens 6 is colored pale red in harmony with the color of the control/tail lamp 3 while the inner lens 7 is colored pale blue as complementary to the color of lens 6, i.e. pale red, for the white which is the original lamp color of the reversing lamp 4.

However, when considering the rear combination lamp 44 in terms of the overall vehicle design,
The rear combination e-lamp 44, which uses multiple colors, gives a complicated impression to the viewer, especially in terms of color harmony with the vehicle body color. Since this is strictly specified by the relevant standards, there is no room for change, which poses a problem in vehicle design. Conventionally, as a solution to this problem, each lens 41a, 142a, 143a of the rear combination lamp 44
Attempts have been made to reduce the degree to which the colors of each lens 41a, 142a, and 43a are detected by covering the surface of the lens with a neutral gray smoked lens, but each color is still detected and the incandescent light bulb 3
The light source such as 2 is also required to be bright in order to compensate for the transmittance lost by the smoke lens, and this does not essentially solve the problem, and the problem is to solve this problem. It had become a thing.

By making the spectral transmittance of the outer lens and the spectral transmittance of the inner lens complementary to the target light color,
The light color is determined by both the outer lens and the inner lens, and for example, it becomes possible to widen the range of color selections for coloring the outer lens.

Next, the present invention will be explained in detail based on an embodiment shown in the drawings. FIG. 1 shows an example in which the present invention is implemented in a rear combination lamp 1 (hereinafter abbreviated as rear combination 1). However, according to the present invention, the reversing light 4 is provided with an approximately white incandescent light bulb 5 as a light source as shown in FIG. A lens 6 and an inner lens 7 are provided, the outer lens 6 being the brake light/tail light 3.
It is said to be pale red to create a harmonious color. On the other hand, the inner lens 7 is formed in a light blue color that is complementary to the color of the outer lens 6, that is, light red, to the white color that is the original light color of the reversing light 4. Incidentally, each of the outer lens 6 and the inner lens 7 is given a fisheye cut or a Fresnel cut, etc., as in the conventional example, and is given light distribution characteristics as the reversing light 4. Needless to say. FIG. 3 is a graph showing the action and effect of the present invention, in which the curve indicated by the symbol 6R is an outer lens spectral transmittance curve of the outer lens 6 colored pale red, and similarly, the symbol 4W is a receding curve. This is a lamp light spectral curve that is defined by the relevant standards for the lamp 4, that is, a white lamp light. Here, when the lamp light spectral curve 4W and the outer lens spectral transmittance curve 6R are examined in detail, it is found that the outer lens spectral transmittance curve 6R is more dominant than the lamp light spectral curve 4W on the red side. The inner lens spectral transmittance curve 7B of the inner lens 7 is compared to the outer lens spectral transmittance curve 6R with respect to the lamp light spectral curve 4w.
If the colors are set to complement each other, the light passing through both lenses 6.7 will be white, that is, the light will have a light spectral curve 4w.In other words, the reversing light 4 will be applied to the outer lens 6 when not lit. It will be seen as a pale red color, and it will be seen as a lamp that emits a white light color when turned on. It goes without saying that in actual implementation, it is preferable to set the inner lens spectral transmission curve 7B in consideration of the color of the light source 5. Therefore, according to the present invention, the reversing light 4, which conventionally used a colorless transparent lens and caused Kannon to feel strange in color contrast with the brake light/tail light 3, can be replaced with a light red lens having a similar color. The rear combination 1 can be colored to enhance the sense of unity of the rear combination 1.

As explained above, the present invention provides a vehicle signal lamp in which the spectral transmittance of the outer lens and the spectral transmittance of the inner lens have a complementary relationship with respect to the intended light color, so that the outer lens is colored. It has the effect of making it possible to make the color of the lamp different from the color of the lamp.
Therefore, when this vehicle signal lamp is used in combination as a rear combination lamp, for example, it is possible to unify the color sense of each outer lens, and it is possible to achieve color harmony, which has an outstanding effect on improving the vehicle design. It is something to play.
