(Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to a dry lamination method using a metal coating roll. (Prior art) Several companies have developed machines for solvent-free dry laminators, but basically they use a three-squeeze roll coating method as shown in the attached diagram to apply adhesive to a thickness of 1 to 5 μm. A thin film is applied to the film 1, which is a material to be bonded, and then laminated with other materials to be bonded. Each roll of 3, 4 and 5 in the figure is approximately 100:
It rotates at a circumferential speed ratio of 10:1, and the circumferential speed of the coating roll 3 is the same as the processing speed, 100 to 200 m/min, so the material composition of the roll should be metal, rubber, or metal. Is it rubber, metal, or rubber?
In either case, the structure is such that a rigid surface and an elastic surface are in contact, and the adhesive also serves as a lubricant between them. In the case of the rubber roll coating method, it is possible to match the coating width of the adhesive to the processing width of the film by undercutting the coating roll, but in the case of the metal roll coating method, Since it is not possible to adjust the metal roll to the coating width, the impression cylinder 2 is undercut, and the adhesive width is controlled with a weir plate 6.
Processing is performed to match the film width. Since the adhesive also serves as a lubricant between the rolls, especially between the 3rd and 4th rolls, the actual situation is that the adhesive is not completely cut with the weir plate, but is released little by little during processing. However, the following problems still occur. (Problems to be solved by the invention) (1) The temperature of the coating roll increases due to frictional heat. In particular, generation of frictional heat is significant in non-coated areas. (2) Adhesive scatters from the uncoated parts of the coating roll. (3) The adhesive hardens in the non-coated area, damaging the roll. (Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve these problems, the inventors of the present invention have conducted extensive research and found that the The inventors have discovered that the above-mentioned problems of the prior art can be solved by processing while dropping a neutralizing agent, and have arrived at the present invention. That is, the present invention provides a metal coating roll 3
In the solvent-free dry laminating method using a laminate, a liquid at room temperature with a molecular weight of 500 or less and having two or more hydroxyl groups in one molecule is applied to the outside of the weir plate 6 of the doctor roll 5 and/or the metering roll 4. This is a solvent-free laminating method characterized in that the process is carried out while dropping a neutralizing agent consisting of a compound. To explain the present invention in detail, the neutralizing agent used in the method of the present invention and which mainly characterizes the present invention is used in a dry laminator equipped with a metal coating roll 3 as shown in the attached drawing, and a doctor roll 5 or a metal coating roll 3. This liquid is applied to the outer part of the ring roll 4 from the weir plate 6, and the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional techniques are solved by applying the liquid. As a result of various studies on such neutralizing agents, the present inventor has found that the neutralizing agents that are usually considered for substances mainly composed of terminal isocyanate compounds, such as dry laminating type solvent-free adhesives, are: Although alcohols and monoglycol ethers have one hydroxyl group at the end, alcohols and monoglycol ethers are not suitable for the following reasons. (1) High vapor pressure pollutes the working environment. (2) Many have unpleasant odors. (3) If mixed into the adhesive, it will stop the curing reaction of the adhesive. The present inventors have discovered that even if a compound has two or more hydroxyl groups in one molecule, if it is present in large excess relative to the terminal isocyanate group, it will function sufficiently as a neutralizing agent, and The present invention was completed by discovering that the neutralizing agent is extremely suitable for laminating methods. Molecular weight with two or more hydroxyl groups in one molecule
Compounds that are liquid at room temperature of 500 or less include alkylene glycols such as ethylene glycol, propylene glycol and butylene glycol, alkylene ether glycols such as diethylene glycol, triethylene glycol and dipropylene glycol, glycerin and its alkylene oxide adducts, etc. Can be mentioned. It is also possible to use glycols with a molecular weight of 500 or more, but if their proportion increases, a large amount of neutralizing agent must be dropped in order to maintain the molar excess with the isocyanate groups in the adhesive, resulting in problems. It's the economy. If it is a neutralizing agent like the one mentioned above, the dropping amount is 50~
100 g/hour (processing speed 100-150 m/min) is sufficient. Although it is an effective method to add a small amount of an isocyanate reaction inhibitor such as an acid or a halogen compound as a component of the neutralizing agent, it is not always necessary. The action of the neutralizing agent in the present invention is as follows. That is, in FIG. 1, a solvent-free adhesive is supplied between the weir plates 6, 6, and stretched thinly between the rolls 4 and 3. At this time, roll 4 and roll 3 are rotating at different circumferential speeds. Therefore, the adhesive acts as a type of lubricant between the rolls 4 and 3 between the weir plates 6, 6 and suppresses the generation of frictional heat, but the adhesive acts on the outside of the weir plates 6, 6. If no adhesive is supplied, a large amount of frictional heat will be generated due to friction between the rolls 4 and 3. Therefore, it is necessary to supply some adhesive to the outside of the weir plates 6, 6 to reduce the frictional heat. However, in the conventional method, the amount of this adhesive is small and curing progresses, and frictional heat cannot be suppressed sufficiently. By dropping the neutralizer of the present invention onto either of the rolls on the outside of the weir plates 6, 6, the increase in viscosity due to hardening of the adhesive is suppressed, and it also acts as a lubricant. The above problem, that is, the generation of frictional heat is suppressed. Furthermore, if the neutralizer of the present invention is not dripped onto the outer roll surfaces of the weir plates 6, 6, the amount of adhesive on the outer roll surfaces of the weir plates 6, 6 is small and is likely to harden due to temperature rise. Therefore, the mist of the cured adhesive is likely to volatilize. By dropping the neutralizer of the present invention here, the outer roll surfaces of the weir plates 6, 6 are always coated, and the increase in viscosity (solidification) due to the reaction of the solvent-free adhesive is suppressed. Therefore, the above-mentioned problem 2, that is, volatile acid in the mist is prevented. Furthermore, as described above, the adhesive tends to harden on the outer roll surfaces of the weir plates 6, 6, and if it hardens and hardens, the rolls 4 and 3 will be damaged, but the neutralizing agent is dropped as described above. Then, the neutralizer and adhesive
The NCO/OH ratio is extremely small (OH is in large excess), so even if NCO and OH react, the molecular weight will not increase.
Solidification of the adhesive is suppressed, and therefore problem 3 above is solved. (Example) The present invention will be described below with reference to Examples. Example 1 Composition of neutralizing agent Triethylene glycol 20 parts MN-300 (Mitsui Nisso urethane: trifunctional PPG molecular weight

NCO content 5.9% Lamination composition OPP 30μm 660mm width (Taikaku FOR; Mimasa Nimura) OPP 20μm 700mm width (FHK-2; Mimasa Nimura) Roll temperature setting Doctor roll 80℃ Coating roll 80℃ 3 under the above setting conditions The results of a comparison of cases in which the neutralizing agent was dropped at a rate of 60 g/hour and those without it during continuous processing over time are as follows. The effect of preventing the scattering of water is remarkable.
