【発明の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】
本発明は圧力スイング吸着法を利用 [0002]
【従来の技術】
塩素は非常に重要な工業中間原料で 塩素の分離や濃縮のための設備が存在 [0003] 従来塩素を含むガスより塩素を分離 液体塩素としガスより分離する方法や た溶剤をストリッピングすることによ [0004] 塔内が真空ポンプ10で排気されて減圧状態となり、吸
着剤に吸着された塩素が脱着され、吸着剤が再生される
(再生工程)。 [0034] この再生工程で製品としての塩素濃度の高いガスを真空
ポンプ10の吐出口から得ることができ、この塩素を高
濃度に含有したガスは下流の消費工程に送られる[00
35] この時第2の吸着塔4bでは、原料ガスが切換弁15を
経て導入され、この塔の出口から処理済ガスが吐出し、
切換弁16、弁6を経てブロワ7に送られ、さらに消費
工程へ送られる。 [0036] また第3の吸着塔4Cでは第2の吸着塔4bから吐出さ
れる処理済ガスの一部が流量調節機構8、切換弁17を
経て導入され、この塔内の圧力が処理済ガスによって高
められる充圧工程が実施されている。 [0068] 通気完了後原料ガスの供給を停止し、真空ポンプで吸着
カラムを60mmHg abs。 の圧力に5分間おき、塩素ガスを脱着させて脱着したガ
スを分析したところ塩素濃度79%であった。 [0069] この脱着後の吸着カラムに再び初めと同様の組成のガス
を同条件で通気したところ、やはり6分間は流出するガ
スの塩素濃度は200〜500ppmであった。 [0070]
【発明の効果】
本発明は圧力スイング吸着法を適用することにより、塩
素を含有するガスから塩素を容易に分離、濃縮する方法
を提供するもので、その工業的価値は非常に太きい。 [0071] 本発明は比較的うすい濃度で含まれる塩素ガスから、吸
着剤を用いて比較的高再生も要しない方法である。 [0072] 本発明は塩素を利用する設備において付属設備として実
施される。

Claims (5)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】塩素を吸着しうる吸着剤を充填した吸着塔
    に、塩素を含有するガスを導入して塩素を吸着させ、そ
    の後ガスの導入を停止し、ガス導入時よりも低い圧力下
    で脱着を行ない、導入ガスの塩素濃度より高い塩素濃度
    のガスを得るとともに吸着剤を再生することを特徴とす
    る塩素ガスの濃縮方法。
  2. 【請求項2】塩素を吸着しうる吸着剤がゼオライトであ
    る請求項1記載の方法。
  3. 【請求項3】塩素を吸着しうる吸着剤が非ゼオライト系
    多孔質酸性酸化物である請求項1記載の方法。
  4. 【請求項4】塩素を吸着しうる吸着剤が活性炭である請
    求項1記載の方法。
  5. 【請求項5】活性炭が分子ふるいカーボンである請求項
    4記載の方法。
